Margrete Birkeland blogger om Design Thinking-utdanningen
It's a roller coaster ! And it's all yours ! IF you choose to enter the world of Design Thinking...
And right now it's happening in Bergen :)
With 29 (apparently) normal students, and a bouqet of extremely enthusiastic teachers, we are now stepping into an emotional and educational theme park!
In a good way! In getting challenges. In dealing with time. In cooperating. In friendship, and in TWISTING your brain through a lot of new innovative STUFF that sometimes is totally NOT what you have learned before....
We are now at Modul 2, and I'm full of adrenalin and excitement for this study.
I work with great people full of different knowledge and life experience. And its so fun, because now we are starting to notice a lot of juicy stuff! Importnant stuff!! Johooo!!
But my god, we have also been dealing with a lot of frustration and questions:
What are we looking for?
What are we solving?
Will this get us anywhere at all?
Why are "Post it`s" the answer to everything???
(I have a totally new relationship to Post it's afters these intense weeks)
ACTION is a keyword, and pieces are falling to place after just getting ourselves out there!
Im very grateful that the teachers in DT are so involved!
Getting coaching when we are stuck: They give us some good advices and tools, kick us in the ass: Get out there again !
DOING stuff, instead of WORDandEXEL-ing stuff! :)
So we are a small (but powerful) group, working in a very creative, innovative, and NEW way, within a very TRADITIONAL and BIG company...
No need to say: It's a roller coaster ride!! Ups and downs and bumps and farts, in a very fast pace, and we can't se the end of it...
We really don't know where it will take us, an incredible scaryhappy feeling!
( Especially for all us project managers )
The only thing I know for sure is that Im thrilled, and its tickling in my tummy,- Design Thinking for sure feels like a roller coaster!! Its really is something else ......
